Our Story
The History of Bakers' Fair
The Ong Family founded Bakers' Fair & Foodmart, Inc. in 1965 as a small bakery in downtown Manila, at the corner of C.M. Recto and Avenida. Pan de Sal, the classic Pullman Bread and the famous Dice Hopia were among its first products. The bakery then opened more branches in Oroquieta, Raon and Ongpin in Binondo, and the chain grew to include Divisoria Mall, V-Mall in Greenhills and Farmers Market in Cubao.
For over six decades, the Ong Family legacy has carried on through quality, freshness and service. Bakers' Fair keeps growing with Filipino families, one freshly baked favorite at a time.

A Bakers' Fair near you
To reach more customers, Bakers' Fair chose to expand to more cities outside Metro Manila. Today you can find a store near you, whether you are in the heart of the city or in Bulacan, Antipolo, Cavite, Laguna or Batangas.
Look for the nearest bus station, wet market, public school, town church or shopping mall, and for the familiar orange storefront.
Bakers' Fair has almost 60 stores, ready to serve you freshly baked goods at affordable prices.
Expansion
A bigger bakery for a growing demand
In 1982, the once tiny bakery opened a bigger production facility in Sta. Cruz, Manila, to meet the growing demand.
The Sta. Cruz facility is equipped with modern bakery machines from all over the world. Well-trained workers, supervised by highly skilled managers, make world-class bakery products: Chinese pastries, European delights, Western breads and buns, and Pinoy favorites.
Bakers' Fair shops stock a wide assortment of baked goods, among them Dice Hopia, Mamon Roll, Egg Pie, Leche Flan and our signature Pianono Roll. Wedding cakes and birthday cakes are now in many Bakers' Fair stores.
Since 2025, Bakers' Fair has been commissioning a new commissary of over two hectares in Imus, Cavite.
