Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This page explains what happens to your personal information when you use bakersfair.com. Bakers' Fair is a family-owned bakery in the Philippines, in business since 1965. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the rules of the National Privacy Commission.

What we collect and why

Contact form. The form asks for your first name, last name, email address and message. Your phone number is optional. When you press send, we email these details to info@bakersfair.com so we can read your message and reply. Your email address is set as the reply-to, so our reply goes to you. The details are not stored on the website or in its database. They stay in the email we receive. Please do not put sensitive details, such as health information or ID numbers, in your message.

Spam check. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a message is sent by a person. The contact page loads a script from Cloudflare. Your browser gets a check token from Cloudflare, and our server sends that token and your IP address to Cloudflare to confirm it. To limit spam, our server also counts the messages sent from each IP address for up to one hour. The count is kept in memory only, not in a database.

Sending the email. Your message is sent through Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES). If an email fails to send, our server records only the type of error, an error code and an HTTP status. It does not record your name, email address, message or IP address.

Store finder. The store finder asks for your location only when you choose "Nearest to me". Your location stays in your browser and is used only to sort the list of stores. It is never sent to our server or to anyone else.

Facebook posts. The website shows recent public posts from Bakers' Fair's own Facebook Pages. Our server fetches the posts and keeps copies of their pictures. Your browser does not contact Facebook unless you click a post, which opens it on facebook.com.

Cookies and tracking

Visitors get no cookies. The public website sets no cookies and uses no browser storage. It has no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or social media widgets. Fonts come from our own website.

Who handles your information

We use Cloudflare (spam check), Amazon Web Services (email sending, website hosting and backups) and our email provider to run the website and receive your messages. Website backups do not contain contact messages. These companies work internationally, so your information may be handled outside the Philippines. We do not share your information with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep contact emails only as long as we need them to answer you, or as the law requires. Spam counts last up to one hour.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, take back your consent, and claim compensation if you were harmed by misuse of your information. Because the website does not store contact form details, a request about a message you sent is about the email we received.

To make a request, email info@bakersfair.com and say what you want. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
